National Data Protection Authority of Brazil will be decoupled from president office

<p>The National Data Protection Authority of Brazil will be decoupled from the president's office. The ANPD will be turned into a unique autarchy while retaining the organizational structure and competencies established by the law that established it in 2018. The provisional legislation takes effect immediately after it is signed, providing ANPD full administrative and financial authority, as opposed to solely operational and decision-making autonomy previously.</p>
