Over 2B user records from TikTok have been stolen: Security researchers

<p>TikTok may have had a data breach, which might have affected up to 2B user database records, as per cyber-security researchers. The finding of what was described as "a breach of an insecure server that permitted access to TikTok's storage, which they suspect held personal user data" was tweeted about by a number of cyber-security analysts. The Chinese corporation has since patched the issue, which would have needed a sequence of problems to be exploited.</p>
