Over 400K Malicious Files are Used Daily by Cybercriminals to Assault Users: Report

<p>An increase of 5% from 2021 to 2022 was seen in the number of harmful files disseminated daily by cybercriminals to target consumers, according to a recent analysis by cybersecurity firm Kaspersky. In 2021, almost 3,80,000 of these files were found per day, and in 2022, Kaspersky&#39;s systems found about 122 million harmful files, an increase of 6 million from 2021. Of all the platforms impacted by the threat families, Windows continued to be the most often attacked platform.</p>
