Over 60 social media accounts blocked for anti-India fake news: Government
<p>The government announced that it has blocked more than 60 social media accounts for spreading anti-India fake news in the last two months. These social media accounts include YouTube channels, Facebook and Instagram pages. Anurag Thakur, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, has promised that anyone who spread "false news" will face severe consequences. "The government has legal tools in place to counteract the spread of fake news," the Union Minister stated.</p>
