Payment system operators to receive cyber resiliency guidelines from RBI

<p>The Reserve Bank of India announced that it will shortly issue guidelines for Payment System Operators on cyber resilience and payment security controls. These guidelines will cover effective governance methods for identifying, assessing, monitoring and managing cybersecurity threats. It will also specify baseline security procedures for assuring safe and secure digital payment transactions, as well as information security risks and weaknesses.<br />
