Ransomware BlackByte makes comeback as FBI warns businesses

<p>The FBI and Secret Service have warned business as the BlackByte ransomware gang has targeted three US critical infrastructure sectors. BlackByte is a ransomware-as-a-service(RaaS) that rents out its service and takes a portion of the ransom generated. BlackByte broke out with a storm as it targeted several businesses worldwide in 2021. Security professionals still managed to track BlackByte activities in the US, Europe and Australia.</p>
