Reports that Payments Bank’s leaked to Chinese are false, says Paytm

<p>Paytm has said that reports which claim that Payments Bank leaked data to Chinese firms are completely false. Recently the bank was banned from accepting new customers because this data breach violated India’s rules, said reports. A Paytm spokesperson said that Payments bank is fully compliant with RBI’s directions on data localization. He added that the bank’s data is stored in India and they want to contribute to the country’s financial sector.</p>
