Uber denies breach of user data in recent cybersecurity attack, says “no evidence”

<p>Uber said that there is &ldquo;no evidence&rdquo; that any sensitive user data was compromised in its most recent internal communication system breach. The alleged hacker who approached the New York Times admitted to having used a technique called social engineering to break into Slack, the internal messaging system Uber uses. After the breach, the company was forced to bring Slack offline to prevent further damage.&nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;</p>
