Workers at Google press company to stop collecting abortion data

<p>The Google worker union wants the firm to do more to safeguard customers and staff who need abortion treatment. Over 650 Google employees, according to the union, signed a petition demanding significant reforms. The AWU cited the case of a 17-year-old and her mother, whose Facebook data was provided to law officials, who were charged in June with procuring an illegal abortion for the daughter.</p>
