The Akira ransomware group has allegedly breached Apache OpenOffice systems, claiming to have exfiltrated 23GB of sensitive corporate data. The stolen information reportedly includes employee records, such as physical addresses, Social Security numbers, and financial documents. The Apache Software Foundation has not yet confirmed the double-extortion attack, which highlights the growing risks faced by volunteer-driven open-source projects.
