Allianz Life Data Breach Exposes 1.1M Customer Records; Wide-Scale Identity Risks

A late-July cyberattack on Allianz Life compromised the personal information of approximately 1.1 million U.S. customers, including names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, and, in some cases, Social Security numbers—from a third-party Salesforce CRM system. The breach affects the majority of its 1.4 million domestic customers. Allianz is investigating, has notified the FBI, and is offering two years of identity monitoring to affected individuals.
