Alpha-Omega bags $5M investment from Google, Microsoft
<p>Alpha-Omega is a new project by the Open Source Security Foundation (OSSF) that aims to boost the security of open-source software and applications. The initiative will seek help from industry experts and automated testing tools. $5M investment from Google and Microsoft will help skyrocket the initial momentum. OSSF explained that the Alpha team will work on the most critical projects whereas the Omega team will use automated tools to identify critical vulnerabilities.</p>
