Amazon Adopts AI and Smart Glasses to Boost Delivery Speed
Amazon is deploying new technology, including "Amelia" smart eyeglasses for drivers, to accelerate deliveries. The high-tech glasses provide real-time navigation and scan packages, replacing bulky GPS devices. Coupled with a robotic arm for warehouse sorting and a new AI system to manage logistics, Amazon aims to shave precious seconds off the final delivery steps.
