Amazon‑Backed Skild AI Unveils “Skild Brain” General‑Purpose Model for Multi‑Robot Intelligence

Skild AI, backed by Amazon and SoftBank, introduced Skild Brain, a foundation AI model that powers diverse robot types—including humanoids, quadrupeds, tabletop arms and mobile manipulators—with a unified “shared brain.” Trained via large-scale simulations and human-action video, then fine-tuned with real-world feedback from deployed robots, it enables tasks like climbing stairs, pick-and-place in clutter, and self-balancing.
