Apple Eases EU App Tracking Consent Rules With Less Intimidating Prompts

Apple will let developers in the EU use an alternative App Tracking Transparency prompt with different wording, formatting and an “Additional Information” option. The changes follow agreements with European competition authorities and begin with iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2. The underlying requirement to obtain user permission for tracking remains unchanged.
