Apple's iPhone City Faces Scrutiny Over Worker Exploitation

A six-month undercover investigation by China Labor Watch has revealed ongoing labor abuses at Foxconn’s Zhengzhou facility, Apple’s largest iPhone factory. The report highlights excessive overtime, staggered wage payments to deter worker turnover, and discrimination against pregnant women and ethnic minorities. Additionally, over half of the 200,000 workers are temporary hires, violating Chinese labor laws that limit such workers to 10% of the workforce.
