Ashwini Vaishnaw, India's IT Minister, Criticises Twitter's Layoffs

<p>The decision by Elon Musk-run Twitter to fire its staff in India has drawn criticism from Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who claims that they should have been given a "reasonable time for transition." Vaishnaw stated, "We denounce the manner in which Twitter terminated employees in India". The layoffs in India affected a variety of divisions, including corporate communications, sales, and marketing.</p>
