Azure Latency Spikes Following Multiple Red Sea Undersea Cable Cuts

Microsoft has warned its Azure cloud users of increased latency after multiple undersea fiber optic cables were cut in the Red Sea, primarily affecting traffic between Asia and Europe via the Middle East. The company has rerouted traffic through alternate paths to maintain service continuity, noting that connections not traversing the region remain unaffected.
