Bose to Discontinue Cloud Features for SoundTouch Speakers in 2026
Bose announced that starting February 18, 2026, it will discontinue cloud-based features for its SoundTouch speakers, including access to integrated music services like Spotify and TuneIn, as well as multi-room playback. The SoundTouch app will also cease functioning, eliminating app-based control. Core audio functions such as Bluetooth, AUX, and HDMI inputs may still work on certain models, but long-term performance is not guaranteed.
