Broadcom looks to improve data cente, wireless performance despite chip slowdown

<p>Broadcom Inc. anticipates steady demand that will help it weather a potential slowdown in the chip sector as businesses move toward digital transformation. As a result, it expects fourth-quarter revenue to exceed projections. Extended trading saw a 2.4% increase in the company's shares to $503 as third-quarter results likewise exceeded forecasts. "From our viewpoint point, infrastructure demand is still very much holding," CEO Hock Tan told to analysts.</p>
