China Opens Anti-Dumping & Discrimination Probes Into U.S. Chip Exports
China’s Ministry of Commerce has launched two investigations targeting the U.S. semiconductor sector ahead of crucial trade talks in Madrid. One probe looks into alleged “dumping” of analog IC chips—such as interface and gate driver chips—from the U.S. Another examines potential discriminatory U.S. trade policies against Chinese chip companies.
