China’s Wingtech Appeals to Beijing After Dutch Seizes Control of Nexperia
Chinese chipmaker Wingtech is seeking assistance from Chinese government bodies in response to a Dutch intervention in its Netherlands-based subsidiary, Nexperia. Dutch authorities invoked the Goods Availability Act, giving them the authority to block or reverse decisions made by the company amid concerns over governance and security. Wingtech plans to pursue legal action, engage with stakeholders, and protect shareholder rights.
