China's Wingtech Claims Dutch Nexperia Unit Seeks Independence
Wingtech, the Chinese parent company of Nexperia, claims its Dutch unit is actively attempting to strip it of permanent control and establish a non-Chinese supply chain. This move follows a period of conflict, including the Dutch government's seizure of the chipmaker and an Amsterdam court order that currently prevents Wingtech from exercising control. Wingtech's authority has not been restored despite a temporary suspension of the government seizure.
