China’s WM Motor to Resume Production Under Government-Backed Revival

Chinese EV maker WM Motor is set to restart production of its EX5 and E5 models this September at its Wenzhou factory, following a rescue by new owner Shenzhen Xiangfei Auto Sales and strong support from Wenzhou and Shanghai authorities. The revival plan targets full capacity by 2026, launching over 10 new models, and achieving annual output of 1 million vehicles and revenue of ¥120 billion by 2030.
