Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, Steer collaborate to create automated valet parking system

<p>Maryland-based AV startup, Steer Tech has bagged $1.5M in funding for the development of a testbed at the Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport to demonstrate the benefits of an automated parking ecosystem. The pilot will run for about a year and will include three subsystems: low-speed vehicle automation, supervisory parking management, and active digital curb management. Steer will be using 10 vehicles initially which are fitted with the firm’s AV software.</p>
