Digital India to drive economy to $1 tn by 2025: Niti Aayog CEO

<p>Digital transformation, riding on the wave of new-age tech -- AI, cloud computing, IoT, blockchains, robotics-- can drive the manufacturing sector to create $1 trillion economy by 2025 up from $200 bn, said Niti Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant. According to the CEO, the Central government's Digital India push helped to bridge the digital divide in the country. “Digital is the future,” and if India wanted to improve the social and health sectors, going digital was critical.</p>
