Discord Data Breach Exposed Users’ Government IDs and Personal Info
Discord confirmed a data breach affecting approximately 928 users, resulting in leaked government ID verification documents and personal profile information. The compromised data included IDs, usernames, email addresses, birthdates, guild memberships, and account timestamps. Users are being notified and urged to enable two-factor authentication (2FA).
