Dozens of Colleges Ban TikTok on Campus-Issued Devices

<p>Schools in Alabama, 26 public universities and colleges in Georgia and University of Oklahoma have banned access to TikTok on campus computers and Wi-Fi networks. This is in compliance with state mandates to keep the app off state-owned devices. The apps maker says the bans are based on "unfounded falsehoods" and won't advance cybersecurity. It's working with the US government to secure TikTok's platform and satisfy security concerns.</p>
