Elon Musk Announces Twitter Will Remove Legacy Verifications in the Coming Months

<p>Elon Musk said all historical blue checkmarks of Twitter will be eliminated in a few months as their distribution was corrupt and ridiculous. After a rocky initial debut, the social media platform's Twitter Blue membership plan was revived on Monday. Anyone willing to pay the $8 monthly subscription fee will receive a blue checkmark next to their name, less advertisements on their timeline, promoted posts, and other perks. </p>
