Eric Schmidt Warns U.S. Risks Losing AI Edge to China Under Trump's Policies

Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt has cautioned that the United States may fall behind China in the race for superintelligence due to recent policy decisions by the Trump administration. Speaking at the AI+Biotechnology Summit hosted by the National Security Commission on Emerging Biotechnology, Schmidt criticized actions such as slashing research funding, tightening immigration controls, and freezing university grants, describing them as a "total attack on all of science in America."
