ASML, Europe's largest chipmaking equipment provider, currently has zero domestic customers because local semiconductor manufacturing investments are virtually non-existent. While global regions like the US, China, and India aggressively build fabrication plants and compete for advanced lithography machines, European Union policies and slow funding have left the continent's vital tech sector sitting on the sidelines.
