Exclusive-Russian Software Disguised as American Finds its Way Into U.S. Army, CDC Apps

<p>Thousands of smartphone apps in Apple and Google's online stores contain computer code developed by Pushwoosh, a technological business that appears to be based in the United States but is actually Russian, according to Reuters. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the United States' primary agency for combating significant health hazards, stated that it had been duped into believing Pushwoosh was situated in the U.S. capital.</p>
