FAA Warns Starship Launches Could Delay Florida Flights by Up to Two Hours

Federal Aviation Administration documents reveal that SpaceX’s planned Starship launches from Kennedy Space Center could significantly disrupt Florida air travel. According to a draft Environmental Impact Statement, launches and Super Heavy booster landings may cause ground stops, reroutes, and delays ranging from 40 minutes to 2 hours, affecting major airports such as Orlando, Miami, Tampa, and Fort Lauderdale. Starship stage reentries may also trigger delays up to an hour.
