Firefox Adds Perplexity AI as Optional Search Engine for Conversational Answers
Firefox now offers Perplexity’s AI answer engine as a selectable search option, enabling conversational replies with source citations rather than traditional link lists. The feature, previously available only in the U.S., U.K., and Germany, is rolling out globally on desktop, with mobile support coming soon. Users can switch to Perplexity via the unified search button or set it as their default in settings.
