Fox Channels May Go Dark on YouTube TV Over Payment Dispute
YouTube is negotiating with Fox to renew their content partnership, but Fox demands higher payments than similar partners. If no agreement is reached by 5 PM ET on August 27, Fox channels—including Fox Sports, Business, and News—may become unavailable on YouTube TV. YouTube plans to provide a $10 credit to subscribers if the channels go dark and aims to avoid passing additional costs to users.
