Google AI Photo Verification Rolls Out in Gemini App
Google has launched a new feature in its Gemini app, allowing users to verify if an image was created or edited by Google AI using the invisible SynthID watermarking technology. Users can upload a photo and ask for verification. This move is designed to address misinformation and will soon expand to video and audio, also integrating with the industry-wide C2PA content authentication standards.
