Google Launches AI Scam Detection as India Becomes Fraud Hotspot
Google has identified India as a global hotspot for AI-driven scams and is piloting real-time, on-device fraud detection. The new feature uses the Gemini Nano AI model on Pixel phones to analyze unknown calls for suspicious patterns without accessing call data or transmitting it to the cloud, ensuring user privacy.
