After criticism over Bard’s shaky launch and missteps with its AI Overviews, Google has staged a dramatic turnaround. It unified its AI teams under DeepMind, launched its own TPUs (Tensor Processing Units), and rolled out tools like Veo 3 for video generation and “AI Mode” for conversational search.
