Google Removes ICE-Tracking App Following Apple’s ICEBlock Crackdown

In early October 2025, both Apple and Google removed apps designed to track and report sightings of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. Apple first removed the ICEBlock app and similar ones like Red Dot from its App Store following pressure from the U.S. Department of Justice. Attorney General Pam Bondi criticized the apps for potentially inciting violence against law enforcement.
