Google Sued Over Gemini AI Snooping on Private Communications
Google faces a class-action lawsuit in a federal court in California, alleging that its Gemini AI assistant unlawfully tracked and collected private communications from users' Gmail, Chat, and Meet accounts. The complaint claims Google "secretly" activated Gemini for all users in October without their consent, accessing their entire communication history unless the AI tool is manually disabled deep within the privacy settings.
