Google DeepMind launched WeatherNext 2, an AI model that generates global weather predictions eight times faster than its predecessor, with one-hour resolution. The model can create hundreds of possible weather scenarios in under a minute, surpassing previous models on accuracy. It now powers forecasts in Google Search, Gemini, and Pixel devices.
