Tesla CEO Elon Musk has agreed with Apple CEO Tim Cook’s warning regarding an unprecedented global memory shortage, which Cook compared to a "hundred-year flood." Driven by hyperscalers aggressively building out AI data centers, soaring DRAM and NAND costs have quadrupled. Musk called it the "biggest price jump" he has ever seen, warning that massive production shortfalls are squeezing electronics margins and forcing device price hikes.
