IEA Calls For Greener Transport To Curb Climate Change By 2050

<p>With a ground-breaking Breakthrough Agenda report released on Tuesday by the International Energy Agency, Executive Director Fatih Birol stressed the importance of international cooperation in limiting the rise in global temperatures due to climate change. In an ambitious plan to avert the catastrophic rise in temperature due to vehicular Carbon emissions, the Agency has suggested zero-emission based cars by the year 2035 and heavy vehicles by 2040.</p>
