IISc startup deploys India’s first desi tech for rural 4G, 5G Services Under BharatNet

<p>Astrome, a Bengaluru startup has completed its first successful deployment of the indigenously developed product GigaMesh in Rural Karnataka, to facilitate 4G and 5G connectivity. The deployment was done from Sompura gram panchayat to Nidavanda Village in the Bengaluru rural district. Astrome was awarded a contract to facilitate Broadband, 4G and 5G internet connectivity in rural areas through BharatNet fibre.</p>
