IIT Bombay Develops Drone Control Model Using Only Camera Data
Researchers at IIT Bombay have introduced a novel drone control system enabling complex formations based solely on visual cues from neighboring drones. This approach eliminates the need for GPS, inter-drone communication, or active sensors, relying instead on passive optical sensors like cameras. The model ensures stability and adaptability, making it ideal for applications in defense, surveillance, and environments where traditional communication methods are impractical.
