IIT-Madras develops an AI tool for predicting cancer-causing genes

<p>An AI-based technology called PIVOT, created by researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) may forecast a person&#39;s cancer-causing genes. This early knowledge can be used to develop individualised cancer treatment plans as well as aid in cancer prevention. A model that makes use of data on gene expression, gene expression patterns, and gene copy number variation forms the basis of the prediction of the cancer-causing genes.</p>
