India's government, via the IndiaAI Mission, has directed developers of sovereign Large Language Models (LLMs) to prioritize bias mitigation and rigorous stress testing before deployment. This mandate ensures foundational AI models are inclusive and do not reflect historical biases related to caste, gender, or regional stereotypes, aligning with India's "AI for All" vision for responsible and ethical technology.
