India requires legislation to address problems developers face on Google, Apple app stores

<p>Industry stakeholders underlined the need to remedy the power imbalance between app store operators and developers in the Indian context, pushing the government to draught a law to address developers' concerns as Apple and Google force developers toward an ad-based income model. ADIF and the Coalition for App Fairness (CAF) hosted a virtual panel discussion to address the limitations of present legal and regulatory frameworks in dealing with such digital markets.</p>
