India To Need More Than 20 Lacs EV Charging Stations By 2030

<p>Around 5cr EVs are estimated to be on India's road by 2030. In this, around 70% are E-two wheelers alone. The support this huge growth India will require around 20.5 lakh charging stations by then. The current EV market has limited capabilities for fast-charging EVs. Currently, there are about 32 EVs per charging station in India. However, it is expected that by 2030 there will be enough of them as 5 lakh charging stations are already under construction by various companies.</p>
