IndiaAI Initiative Slashes GPU Costs by Up to 10%, Boosting AI Accessibility

The IndiaAI Mission's second round of GPU tenders has led to a significant reduction in graphics processing unit (GPU) prices, with up to a 10% drop compared to the first round. This decrease is attributed to a 40% government subsidy aimed at making high-performance computing more affordable for AI startups, researchers, and developers. The initiative has introduced 53 GPU categories, including new models like Nvidia’s B200, and has allocated 4,423 GPUs.
